A lovely little cabin in the food forest. This log cabin has a fresh, inviting look and features a comfortable (sleeper) sofa. Here, you’re truly surrounded by nature, staying in an orchard/food forest; the accommodations are otherwise very simple. The log cabin/hiker’s cabin has one room that serves as a living room during the day and can easily be converted into a bedroom in the evening. The sofa bed is of good quality and converts into a comfortable double bed. It has a spacious outdoor seating area and a private patio with seating. There is no running water directly in the log cabin, but you’ll have access to a shower and toilet at the nearby farm. The cabin has a 12V electrical system. If you need to charge anything, you can do so at the nearby barn. If you’re looking for more comfort or space, our mobile home is a better option. You can also find it on nature house. Nature and surroundings
In the middle of the orchard/food forest and close to the Lek River. The accommodation is in a very rural setting. It’s the perfect spot for walks and bike rides. The towns of Schoonhoven, Vianen, and Gorinchem are nearby. From here, you can enjoy a beautiful bike ride along part of the Waterline Route or visit the Zouweboezem nature reserve. When the weather is nice, you can access the Lek River via a small beach across from the food forest for a refreshing dip. The nearest village with amenities is Ameide, located 3 km from the food forest.
