Located on the edge of a small vacation park in the village of Formerum, centrally located on the island, the chalet's interior exudes a fresh, minimalist style with natural materials, light colors and subtle beach accents. The cozy living room is wonderfully light thanks to the large windows and sliding doors to the sunny terrace. Soft cushions, a comfortable sofa and a cozy dining area create a homey atmosphere. Nature and surroundings
From the chalet you can walk straight into the Formerumerbos, with winding paths and sheltered areas out of the wind. More space and vastness? Walk through the polders towards the Wadden dike, where you can spot many different birds, walk among the sheep, smell the sea and the island feels very pure. Just a 2 km walk or 8 min bike ride away is the (North Sea) beach of Formerum aan Zee. The beaches of Midsland aan Zee, Hoorn, Oosterend and West aan Zee are not far away either. You can experience the really rough nature at Boschplaat. Through unpaved paths you come to beautiful places with countless birds and spoonbills, among others! Located 15 minutes by bike from the chalet, Terschelling is best discovered on foot or by bike. You can easily rent bikes at the harbor or in the village Formerum. In the chalet you will find various cycling and walking routes and a map with the most beautiful bird-watching spots on Terschelling! Bring your own binoculars! And relax completely.
