Located in the beautiful Drentsche Aa National Park in Papenvoort you will find the small chalet park De Keizerskroon. A park with about 40 chalets, spaciously arranged and neatly cared for. The park has no facilities and that makes it very suitable and loved by those seeking peace and quiet. The chalet has a nice, very bright living room with kitchen, a bathroom (with shower and toilet, a spacious bedroom with a double bed and a smaller bedroom with bunk beds. No smoking and no pets. The chalet is surrounded by a fine garden where many birds can be seen and heard. There is a lovely sitting area on the terrace where on sunny days the sun shines all day. Do you prefer the shade then that is certainly possible in our spacious garden. NO SMOKING / NO PETS / MAX 2 VOLW 2 CHILDREN
Nature and surroundings
Our chalet is on the edge of the forest and from the garden you can walk straight into the forest. Everywhere in the area you will find beautiful nature spots and walking and cycling paths. For your shopping you can go to two neighboring villages (Esdorp) Rolde and Borger. Rolde contains a mill and several village greens. From this beautiful village you are quickly in Balloo, a quiet village with the beautiful Balloërveld where the sheepfold can be found. In Borger on the Drenthe Hondsrug is the Hunebedcentrum with next to it the Oertijdpark. If you want to walk on the tops of the trees, a visit to Buitencentrum Boomkroonpad in Drouwen is very worthwhile. Around this center you will find a beauty of nature and hiking opportunities. Furthermore, there are (within half an hour from the park) several possibilities for swimming in natural water. In our chalet there is an information folder for you to discover even more.
