An adventurous overnight stay in a camping pod! This pod is situated in a particularly beautiful spot in the IJssel Valley, right in the middle of the countryside and next to a whirlpool! The plot is surrounded by willows and tall trees that provide shelter from the wind. The cozy pod stands separately from the main house on a small field. It features a single room with a small double bed (1.40 cm), a sitting area, a kitchenette, and a composting toilet. Through the French doors, you’ll enjoy a stunning view of the whirlpool and the meadows. Just a few steps outside the pod, we’ve set up an outdoor kitchen, which also includes a shower area with a sink. There is a shed where you can store your bikes and charge their batteries. There are several seating areas in the garden where you can relax, and in the summer, you can also swim in the whirlpool. Enjoy watching the many water birds that inhabit the whirlpool.
Nature and surroundings

My daughter and I stayed here for a few nights. We were welcomed with incredible kindness and thoughtfulness. It’s a wonderful spot, right in the middle of the polder, sheltered among the trees. The nearby villages, towns, and forests are easy and quick to reach. You can really unwind here, but you can also seek out the hustle and bustle of the surrounding area if you want to. Everything is relatively close by, from Walibi and towns like Kampen and Zwolle to the water and the forests. We would have loved to stay a few more days.
Ik heb hier samen met mijn dochter een paar nachten geslapen. We werden ontzettend vriendelijk en attent ontvangen. Het is een heerlijke plek, midden in de polder, beschut tussen de bomen. De dorpen, steden en bossen in de buurt zijn gemakkelijk en snel bereikbaar. Je komt er echt even tot rust, maar kunt in de omgeving ook wat meer de drukte opzoeken als je dat wilt. Alles ligt relatief om de hoek, van Walibi en stadjes als Kampen en Zwolle, tot het water en de bossen. We hadden er graag nog een paar dagen gebleven.
