Nature house on the Amstel River | tranquility, canoe & hot tub Wake up on the Amstel River, step right into nature and feel the tranquility immediately. This unique nature house is hand-built from natural materials and surrounded by greenery, making it feel warm, quiet and real. Inside you will find a bright living area, a separate bedroom and a nice bathroom. Outside, tranquility begins immediately. You can use the canoes to go on the Amstel River or rent bicycles to explore the area. At the end of the day you can step into the hot tub (extra charge of €25) and let the hustle and bustle melt away. In the morning I'll take care of a fresh breakfast, so you can start your day in peace. The cottage is still under construction, but from mid-May onwards we'll be happy to welcome you!
Nature and surroundings
The strength of this place is in its surroundings. You stay in the middle of greenery, right on the Amstel River. Here you slow down naturally. In the morning a light silence often hangs over the water and you only hear birds and the rustling of the trees. From the cottage you can walk or run along the Amstel, over quiet paths and along vast meadows. Get in a canoe and experience the area from the water, or take a bike and discover the many small roads and dikes in the neighborhood. A short distance away are beautiful nature reserves such as the Nieuwkoopse Plassen and De Groene Jonker. These are places where you really get away from it all. You will find water, reeds, birds and open space - perfect for walking, running or just being quiet.This is an environment for people who like to be outside, who want to move and slow down at the same time. No crowds, no rush - just space, nature and fresh air.
