Welcome to our former stable which we have transformed into a luxurious comfortable and romantic vacation home. The house for up to 6 people is spacious with its 3 bedrooms, 2 floors and large living room and has a private sun terrace with veranda and its own very spacious enclosed playground. We have taken all the time to create this unique place. The house is largely built from recycled materials. Our gas-free ecological vacation home is heated by a heat pump and runs on energy from our solar panels that provide you with all the comforts during your stay. This house has a private parking for 3 cars and a private entrance to the house, so experience all the space for privacy. In this serene place there is no room for parties but plenty of room for outdoor games, fun and a nice evening under the stars by a campfire. So unwind in a relaxing environment and leave your boombox at home :-).
Nature and surroundings
The accommodation is located at the foot (the boot) of the Zwarte Dennen forest and the Reestdal. You really come here for rest and enjoy nature, but of course there is also plenty of room for entertainment. At short distance you will find the places Zwolle, Meppel and Ommen with a wide variety of food and drink. But also very close is Brasserie de Boerderij, for a snack, ice cream and drink with terrace and playground. Also the outdoor pool Heuveltjesbosbad is highly recommended to visit. Twice voted the most beautiful outdoor pool in the Netherlands. From our accommodation there are numerous cycling, mountain biking and hiking trails. Take a look at the various (farm) stores within a short distance of our house for honest meat, dairy and vegetables / fruit.
