Welcome to our compact B&B, located directly on the dead arm of the Lower Rhine River - locally called the Lek. The view from the front is beautiful over the water from the large window or if you sit on the terrace in front of the B&B. The B&B has its own entrance with hall and coat rack for clothes and suitcases and a separate spacious toilet with washbasin. The room has a double bed with a sitting area and table. The walk-in shower with sink is adjacent on the ground floor. So if you are slightly less mobile, this is a suitable B&B for you. If you plan to bring your bicycles, you can put them in the barn and you can park your car in the driveway with private parking.
Nature and surroundings
The backyard runs into the riparian forest, part of the Lunenburgerwaard nature reserve. You will find here beavers, foxes, pheasants, storks, buzzards and various songbirds and a beautiful walking route along the dead arm of the river in the nature reserve. This environment is very suitable for fishing, canoeing, cycling through the dikes or walking in the woods. You are in fact near the Utrecht Ridge, this is 20 minutes cycling through the dike or wetering. Do you feel like visiting cities then this B & B is very central; Utrecht and Amersfoort are within just 20 minutes by car. You can enjoy a wonderful short stay in this rural B & B in the middle of nature with beautiful views over the Lower Rhine / Lek. Experience the ultimate vacation feeling. Who will not be happy with the many pleasure boats that pass by. We invite you to also use the beach to take a nice dip in the dead river arm.
