Nature and surroundings
Op den Boender is located on the edge of the beautiful nature reserve the Diepeling, a former gravel pit by the water. Where the silence is almost tangible. Here you are surrounded by vast fields, quiet meadows and a landscape that has its own charm in every season. In the early morning, when the world is still quiet, with a little luck you can spot a beaver along the waterfront. Or spot a bright blue kingfisher skimming over the water like a flash. On a quiet walk at dusk, chances are you'll encounter deer.... moments you won't soon forget.The environment invites you to go out together. Take a long walk or get on your bike and follow the flat, quiet bike routes that lead you effortlessly through the countryside. No rush, no fuss ... just time for each other and nature. Here, everything slows down naturally. You feel the space, hear the silence and experience how especially simple enjoyment can be!
