Welcome to Tim's Cozy Cabin Need peace, nature and a break from the hustle and bustle? In this cozy wooden cabin you wake up with birds singing and enjoy your coffee in the sun on the terrace. Inside it is warm and cozy, outside you will find peace, space and greenery. Just steps away are beautiful natural areas for hiking and cycling. Fancy some liveliness? Within 10-15 minutes you are on a terrace in Meppel or Staphorst. You will stay in a spacious, detached house (73 m²) with Scandinavian atmosphere, completely ground floor and comfortably furnished. You have access to the entire house and the spacious garden. Parking is available directly at the cottage (1 car), additional cars at the entrance of the park at 2-3 min walking distance. Washer and dryer are available upon request. The area around IJhorst is known for peace and nature. Discover the Reest valley with forests, heath and hay meadows, walk along the river Reest or explore the nearby forestry Staphorst.
Nature and surroundings
The area around IJhorst is a paradise for peace seekers and nature lovers. From the cottage you are in the beautiful Reestdal, a varied landscape with forests, heathland, hay meadows and meandering streams. Here you can walk and cycle endlessly, for example via the famous routes through the Carstenbos or along the river Reest. Also Forestry Staphorst is a short distance away and offers extensive forests and beautiful hiking trails. Besides nature, there is also plenty to explore in the area. Within 10-15 minutes you reach cozy places like Meppel and Staphorst, where you can enjoy terraces, stores and local atmosphere. For a day out, Slagharen amusement park is about a 25-minute drive away.
