This house is a wooden retreat where you can reconnect with nature, set on 1,600 m² of private woodland. Inside, the 60 m² living space features a large folding (harmonica-style) window that opens the room up to the forest, a wood-burning stove, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, a projector-equipped movie theater, and Wi-Fi. There are two bedrooms, each with a double bed, a cozy mobile home with a double bed and its own private outdoor seating area, and a sofa bed in the living room. The bathroom features a shower and a Japanese soaking tub. Outside, you’ll find a Finnish hot tub with an outdoor shower, a fire pit with a BBQ grill, a hammock, scenic viewpoints in the woods, and our chickens, which provide fresh eggs. Ideal for 4 to 6 guests, with room for up to 8. Cleaning, electricity, water, a firewood package, and bed, bath, and kitchen linens are included, and the beds are made upon arrival.
Nature and surroundings
This house is located in Wachtebeke, in the green heart of the Moervaart Valley in East Flanders. The cabin is nestled within its own 1,600 m² of private forest, so you’ll wake up to birdsong and the sound of the trees. Beyond the gate, quiet country lanes, meadows, and woodland invite you to walk or bike right from the doorstep. Next door is a meadow with 40 horses, and the neighbor has goats, alpacas, and pigs. In the evening, the fire pit, the wood-burning stove, and the Finnish hot tub make it easy to unwind. For groceries, the nearest supermarket and bakery are a 7-minute drive away. Wachtebeke has supermarkets, restaurants, and cafés, and the historic city of Ghent is just a short drive away—perfect for a day trip.

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
A deposit of €450.00 applies. You will be refunded after check-out.
