Nature house in Ytterhogdal

Experience the Swedish outdoor life from our lakeside cottage in central Sweden. What was once an old barn, we have completely renovated into an attractive and comfortable accommodation for 1 to 6 people. Authentic details have been preserved and combined with modern comfort and a warm, relaxed atmosphere.Inside, the kitchen diner is a place where cooking together and long evenings at the large dining table come naturally. In the sitting area you will find a relaxing sofa and the wood stove provides extra warmth and atmosphere. From the house you look out over the lake and step straight from the front door into the forest. Also the front porch invites you to start the day with a cup of coffee in the morning sun and by the fire pit you grill a sausage and the stories arise naturally. The bathroom is comfortably furnished with a walk-in shower and everything you need for a relaxing stay in nature.

The house is free and quiet, surrounded by forests, water and wildlife. Here you will wake up to bird sounds and enjoy the silence and space around you. With a little luck you will see deer or a moose in the area.The house is available year-round and each season has its own charm: from fresh springs and long summer evenings to colorful autumn forests and snowy winter landscapes.For those who want to experience nature more actively, we offer various outdoor activities in all seasons from Friluft Sweden. Think canoeing, kayaking, fishing, hiking and wildlife experiences. We will be happy to tell you more about this during your stay. We live in the same yard ourselves and are available for tips or questions, but you have all the peace and privacy you need to be completely yourself.
