Nature house in Riethoven

The cottage is equipped with all the necessities. Plates, cutlery, pans, glasses, dish towels, hand soap, linens, towels, etc. There are even games in the closet. There is no TV, no wifi and low 4/5G reception, which is exactly what we wanted. Just offline. The beds are fine, the couch is comfortable and the table with four chairs is large enough to have a nice dinner or play a game. The cottage was a bit cold, but the wood stove quickly changed this. What was a particularly valuable addition for us was the fire pit in front of the cottage. This is buried one meter into a large screened circle, making it nice and breezy and keeping the heat on well. We sat here for hours, talking with each other and laughing. We went home relaxed and recharged. The communication with the owners was excellent and we are already planning a new date for another visit to this nature house.Thank you very much,see you soon!

Het huisje is van alle benodigdheden voorzien. Borden, bestek, pannen, glazen, vaatdoeken, handzeep, beddengoed, handdoeken, etc. Er zijn zelfs spelletjes in de kast. Er is géén TV, géén wifi en laag 4/5G ontvangst, wat voor ons juist de bedoeling is. Even offline. De bedden zijn prima, de bank zit lekker en de tafel met vier stoelen is groot genoeg om lekker aan te eten of een spelletje te spelen. Het huisje was wat koud, maar de houtkachel bracht hier snel verandering in. Wat voor ons vooral een enorm waardevolle toevoeging was, dat is de vuurplaats voor het huisje. Deze ligt een meter ingegraven in een grote afgeschermde cirkel, waardoor het lekker windstil is en de warmte goed blijft hangen. We hebben hier uren lang gezeten, met elkaar gepraat en gelachen. We zijn ontspannen en opgeladen huiswaarts gegaan. De communicatie met de eigenaren is uitstekend verlopen en we zijn nu al een nieuwe datum aan het plannen voor een volgend bezoek aan dit natuurhuisje.Hartelijk bedankt,tot snel!

The cottage is hidden in a beautiful piece of forest. Literally right next to the cottage, the path runs further into the forest. About 50 meters away is the next neighbor's cottage, which we could just see through the trees. Furthermore, it is completely secluded and nice and quiet. So you can really unwind here in connection with nature. In the forest there is also a large lawn where you can play frisbee for example. There is also a lot of nature in the area, for example there is a watchtower in the forest a little drive/bike ride away.

Het huisje ligt verscholen in een mooi stuk bos. Letterlijk direct naast het huisje loopt het pad verder het bos in. Op een meter of 50 afstand ligt het volgende huisje van de buren, dat we nog net door de bomen konden zien. Verder is het helemaal afgelegen en lekker rustig. Je kunt hier dus echt even tot rust komen in verbinding met de natuur. In het bos is ook een groot grasveld waar je prima kunt frisbeeën bijvoorbeeld. Er is ook veel natuur in de omgeving, zo is er bijvoorbeeld een uitkijktoren in het bos een stukje rijden/fietsen verderop.

Everything you need is there and the contact with the landlord is very pleasant.

Alles dat je nodig hebt is aanwezig en het contact met de verhuurder is heel prettig.

Lovely cottage to unwind in. Lots of greenery and lots of birds. There is another cottage fairly close by and we were unlucky that they were a bit noisy there. The second night we were all alone in the woods, Lovely!

Heerlijk huisje om in tot rust te komen. Heel veel groen en heel veel vogels. Er staat een ander huisje redelijk dichtbij en wij hadden de pech dat ze daar wat luidruchtig waren. De tweede nacht waren we helemaal alleen in het bos, Heerlijk!

Especially nice to have a nice fire outside. Cottage good, quite spacious and lots of stuff stocked so you don't have to take much with you.

Vooral lekker om buiten lekker een vuurtje te stoken. Huisje goed, vrij ruim en veel spullen voorradig zodat je niet veel hoeft mee te nemen.

The cottage is in the woods, nice and quiet. Only we were in a weekend where the crazy cross was nearby. And the forest path to it is pretty bad. If you really want a weekend rest without TV and wifi this is really a fantastic choice. Also lots to do nearby.

Het huisje staat in het bos, lekker rustig. Alleen waren wij in een weekend waar de crazy cross vlakbij was. En het bospad ernaar toe is vrij slecht. Als je echt een weekend rust wilt zonder tv en wifi is dit echt een fantastische keuze. Ook veel te doen in de buurt.
