This beautiful travel trailer was lovingly renovated using solid wood and exudes warmth and authenticity. As soon as you step inside, you’ll immediately feel the tranquility of this special place. We worked passionately on the renovation for over a year. Except for the chassis and ceiling, everything was restored by hand. Old materials, reclaimed wood, and secondhand finds were given a new lease on life. Everything was finished with respect for nature and a love for reuse. Thanks to the many windows, you’ll enjoy plenty of natural light and a beautiful view of the meadows. The travel trailer features a toilet, sink, coffee maker, refrigerator, bathrobes, and towels. There’s also a separate shower and toilet. Every morning, we’ll treat you to a generous breakfast featuring fresh ingredients. A charming stay where you can completely unwind and enjoy simplicity, comfort, and nature.

Anyone who books a stay in August or September CAN GO FOR A FREE WALK WITH THE ALPACAS!!! Just imagine: you open the curtains of the travel trailer, and the first thing you see is the endless, rolling landscape of Denderwindeke. Our wooden trailer is right in the middle of the meadow, literally among the animals. As you enjoy your first cup of coffee, the alpacas and sheep graze peacefully around your accommodation. Here, you don’t just live next to nature—you’re right in the middle of it. Denderwindeke is the ideal base for those who love peace and quiet, located just a stone’s throw from Geraardsbergen. It’s the true gateway to the Flemish Ardennes, where hikers and cyclists can have a blast. From the trailer, you’ll have a phenomenal view of the fields, with the stately Denderwindeke Mill on the horizon as a historic landmark. Here, you’ll wake up to the pure rhythm of nature. No roaring engines—just chickens and peacocks to rouse you. Come hike with alpacas!!!

A stay we’ll never forget! We had such a wonderful time staying with Kaat & Fred in the mobile home! From the very first moment, the atmosphere was cozy and relaxed. Every morning we were treated to a delicious, hearty breakfast, and of course, the friendly chats with Fred were a great way to start the day.
There was plenty to see and do on the property: alpacas, sheep, swans, ducks, and chickens… everything was happily roaming about. And we were even allowed to bring our dog, Flow, along—for which we were incredibly grateful. We even got to participate in a photo shoot for a travel magazine featuring unique lodging spots. What a fun and special experience! We also got to feed the alpacas, which was, of course, absolutely wonderful.
Every morning, we could enjoy the rising sun from the mobile home while listening to the rooster crow, the quacking of the ducklings, and the cheerful clucking of the chickens. Pure bliss!

Op het erf was van alles te beleven: alpaca’s, schapen, zwanen, loopeendjes en kippetjes… alles liep er gezellig rond. En onze hond Flow mocht mee, waar we ontzettend dankbaar voor waren. We mochten zelfs meedoen aan een fotoshoot voor een reismagazine over bijzondere logeerlocaties. Wat een leuke en bijzondere ervaring! Ook mochten we de alpaca’s voeren, wat natuurlijk helemaal geweldig was.
Elke ochtend konden we vanuit de pipowagen genieten van de opgaande zon, terwijl we luisterden naar het geluid van de haan, het gekwaak van de eendjes en het gezellige getok van de kippen. Echt genieten!

Amazing mobile home. Simple, but very cozy and clean, in a lovely spot next to the duck and swan pond and right in the middle of all the other free-roaming animals. Fred & Kaat, the hosts, are sooooo sweet and caring. They make you feel right at home right away.
Geweldige pipowagen. Eenvoudig, maar heel gezellig en schoon op een heerlijk plekje naast de eenden/zwanenvijver en midden tussen de overige loslopende beestenboel. Fred & Kaat de gastheer en vrouw zijn echt zooooo liefffff en zorgzaam. Ze laten je meteen helemaal thuisvoelen.
