Discover our newly restored wooden trailer, a unique place where charm and comfort go hand in hand. This beautiful trailer has been completely renovated using solid wood and exudes warmth. As soon as you step inside, you’re embraced by the delightful scent of fresh wood—a sensory experience that instantly puts you at ease. We’ve worked passionately on this project for over a year. With the exception of the chassis and the ceiling, absolutely everything has been custom-made by hand. Our vision was simple: finding beauty in reuse. That’s why all the furniture, lights, and decorations were carefully collected at flea markets or purchased secondhand. We gave old pallet wood a new lease on life and invested countless hours in every detail. The result is a retreat that deeply respects nature. Thanks to the many windows, you can enjoy abundant natural light and sweeping views of the meadows. We have consistently carried this ecological philosophy throughout the design. There is also a separate shower and toilet.
Nature and surroundings
Anyone who books an overnight stay in June, July, or August gets to go on a free walk with the alpacas. Imagine this: you open the curtains of the trailer, and the first thing you see is the endless, rolling landscape of Denderwindeke. Our wooden trailer is situated right in the middle of the meadow, literally among the animals. As you enjoy your first cup of coffee, the alpacas and sheep graze peacefully around your accommodation. Here, you don’t just live next to nature—you live right in the middle of it. Denderwindeke is the ideal base for those who love peace and quiet, located just a stone’s throw from Geraardsbergen. It is the true gateway to the Flemish Ardennes, where hikers and cyclists can indulge their passions. From the trailer, you have a phenomenal view of the fields, with the stately Denderwindeke Mill on the horizon as a historic landmark. Here, you wake up to the pure rhythm of nature. No roaring engines, but chickens and peacocks to wake you up

The mobile homes exude tranquility. Beautifully finished and decorated down to the last detail. The mattress sleeps great, wonderfully thick and comfortable. The breakfast is better than a 5 star hotel, with homemade delicacies. The shower is a little further away and gives plenty of water and is wonderfully warm, towels and bathrobes are waiting for you, everything has been thought of. Sleeping overlooking the fields and among the Alpacas, swans and sheep is something you must allow yourself. This is an experience.
De pipowagen straalt rust uit. Zo tot in details mooi afgewerkt en ingericht. Het matras slaapt fantastisch, heerlijk dik en comfortabel. Het ontbijt is beter dan een 5 sterrenhotel, met zelfgemaakte lekkernijen.
De douche is een klein stukje verderop en geeft veel water en is heerlijk warm, handdoeken en badjassen liggen voor je klaar, aan alles is gedacht. Slapen met uitzicht op de velden en tussen de Alpacas, zwanen en schapen is iets wat je jezelf moet gunnen. Dit is een beleving.We enjoyed from the first second to the end. We were even brought to Ninove by Fred with explanations on how to walk back. You are really pampered here from head to toe, sleeping with the view and the various animals. All this is an experience and we will definitely come back.

Wat een weelde, werkelijk alles is hier subliem. Kaat en Fred doen er alles aan om je op je gemak te stellen. We werden door Fred zelfs naar Ninove gebracht met uitleg er bij hoe we weer terug konden lopen. Wat overigens een prachtige wandeling terug is.
Je wordt hier echt van top tot teen in de watten gelegd.
