Our cottage is located in the beautifully quiet Langeveen located on the German border in Twente. The cottage is nicely decorated and fully equipped. All facilities are on the ground floor. There is a private storage room with washing machine and freezer. You can also park your own bikes and recharge. The shed has a large carport to park your car or motorcycles covered. From the cottage you walk or bike right into nature along the German border. Also, the beautiful picturesque villages such as Ootmarsum, known for its art, and Tubbergen are easy to reach, so opportunities galore!
Nature and surroundings
The environment in Twente is all nature, including the Engbertsdijkvenen, a unique nature reserve in the Netherlands where you can still find rare raised bog. This quiet, vast peat landscape attracts special plants and animals. Not for nothing is Engbertsdijksvenen a protected Natura 2000 area in Europe. Then we have the beautiful Springendal and Dal van Mosbeek. This area consists of beautiful forests, streams and springs. Several water mills can be seen and visited here, and you can also explore nature beautifully by motorcycle from here. The village Langeveen itself also has a beautiful heathland area with forests for walking.
