Nature and surroundings
The campsite is located in the middle of the bulb fields overlooking the dunes. The dunes are about 5 minutes walking distance and you can also reach the beach of Sint Maartenszee and Petten within about 20 minutes walking. The area is perfect for beautiful cycling and walking routes through nature and along the coast.A short distance away is the village of Schoorl (about 9 km), known for the highest dune in the Netherlands and the beautiful nature reserve the Schoorl Dunes.Also Callantsoog is a cozy coastal village where you can enjoy nice beach pavilions and an ice cream at the famous ice cream parlor IJsie Prima, several times voted the best ice cream in the Netherlands.
