This detached cottage with private access is located in our yard in the outskirts of Orvelte. Wonderfully free and quiet where the nights are still really dark, it can be really quiet and nature and the forest is across the street. It has a living/sleeping area of 25m2 with a wood stove, nice couch, dining table and a nice quiet and natural atmosphere. Double doors open onto the terrace, garden and hammock. You will find the sun here all afternoon. Around the bed you can close the linen curtains for a cozy sleeping space. Through the connecting door you enter the kitchen with dishwasher, refrigerator, induction hob and combination microwave. Next to it is the bathroom with rain shower, separate toilet and sink.
Nature and surroundings
This cottage is situated exactly between and adjacent to two large forestries, Boswachterij Sleen and Schoonloo, which in turn borders Boswachterij Grolloo, which in turn borders other forestries. It also borders the Orvelterzand, a beautiful nature reserve with pieces of open drifting sand, heathland and highland cattle. Nature park the Drentse Aa can be found across the street and the Elperstroom area, a Natura 2000 area, is just a stone's throw away. So with the nature experience it's all right! In our area you will also find a lot of other Drenthe atmospheres. Several real Drenthe villages worth a visit such as the (museum village) Orvelte, Grolloo (of the Cuby & the Blizards) and Borger (Hunebedcentrum). And many other villages within 30 min that are worth. There are several beautiful swimming lakes in the woods within 5 minutes by car.
