The former hay barn is now almost 400 years old, but now houses a fine apartment with its own facilities, where you can experience the peace and quiet of the Drenthe countryside. A lovely space with its own kitchen, living room, bathroom with separate toilet and a spacious bedroom floor with room for the whole family. In addition, you have the option, at extra cost, to use the wood-fired sauna or an extensive breakfast! The apartment has its own lockable entrance. Spacious and bright living room with open kitchen, dining table for 4, bathroom with walk-in shower and washbasin and a separate toilet. The kitchen is equipped with all practical comfort, where you can also make coffee (Nespresso cups) and tea. WiFi is available throughout the apartment. In the living room there is a television with fiberglass connection and radio. Upstairs you will find a spacious sleeping loft with four single beds and space to add a carry crib if necessary.
Nature and surroundings
Our Bed & Breakfast is located on the outskirts of the village of Koekange, in the middle of the green landscape of Drenthe. Here you can still find true silence, vast fields and winding country roads where you can walk and cycle endlessly. As soon as you step outside, nature begins. The area is a paradise for lovers of peace and quiet and being outdoors. Forests, moors and small nature reserves alternate and each season has its own charm. On a clear night there are countless stars to spot! A short distance away is the National Park Dwingelderveld, one of the most beautiful nature reserves in the Netherlands. Here you can walk for hours on quiet paths along fens and vast heathlands. Whether you come to cycle, walk or simply enjoy peace and quiet: the area around Koekange lets you experience the real Drenthe.
