Nature house in Kinnum

Everything worked perfectly, and the location in a small village was really nice.

Alles functioneerde top en de locatie was heel erg fijn in een klein dorpje.

It was a lovely cottage with everything we needed! It was just a shame that there was construction work going on near the cottage for a few days, which caused some noise.

Het was een heerlijk huisje waarin we aan al onze gemakken waren voorzien! Het was alleen jammer dat er een aantal dagen werkzaamheden dichtbij het huisje waren waardoor we wat geluidsoverlast hadden.

A great spot for two people.

Prima stekje voor twee personen.

't Kokkeltje is one of the four apartments on the grounds of Chéz Paulien. It has recently been completely renovated and looks neat and modern inside. And spotless. Downstairs, there’s a small living room with a kitchen and a spacious, pleasant bathroom with a shower and toilet. A steep, narrow staircase leads up to the cozy bedroom, which has plenty of storage space and a skylight offering a view of the mudflats. It’s really nice to sit outside here, either in the private garden or in the spacious, peaceful shared garden. You can park your bike in the covered bike shed, where you can also charge it. Kinnum is centrally located on the island, making it an excellent base for exploring. We had a wonderful week and will definitely return to this nature house.

't Kokkeltje is een van de vier appartementen op het erf van Chéz Paulien. Het is recent helemaal opgeknapt en ziet er van binnen keurig en modern uit. En brandschoon. Beneden een kleine woonkamer met keuken en een ruime, fijne badkamer met douche en wc. Via een steile smalle trap kom je in de prettige slaapkamer met veel opbergruimte en vanuit een dakraam zicht op het wad. Je kunt er echt lekker buiten zitten, in het privétuintje of in de ruime, rustige gemeenschappelijke tuin. Je fiets stal je in de overdekte stalling waar je 'm ook op kan laden. Kinnum ligt centraal op het eiland, zodat het een heel goede uitvalsbasis is. Wij hebben een heel fijne week gehad en komen zeker terug in dit natuurhuisje.

From the boat, cycle straight onto the Waddendijk, take the Baaiduinen exit, and you’re there! It’s wonderfully peaceful and surrounded by the island’s natural beauty. Because it’s located in the Terschelling polder, there’s plenty of space all around you—and the large communal garden certainly adds to that feeling.

Vanaf de boot meteen de Waddendijk op fietsen, afslag Baaiduinen en je bent er! Heerlijk rustig en omringd door de natuur van het eiland. Doordat het in de Terschellinger polder ligt heb je overal ruimte om je heen, de grote gemeenschappelijke tuin draagt hier zeker aan bij.
