This is a two person apartment on Terschelling located in our former farmhouse in the village of Kinnum. No pets allowed. There is a private terrace and a spacious communal garden at the cottage. There is a lot of peace around the house and you have an unobstructed view over the meadows and the Wadden dike at 150 meters. Midsland is within walking/cycling distance and West Terschelling is also easily accessible. The cottage is furnished for 2 persons and has a living room with dining area and open kitchen. Downstairs you will also find the bathroom with shower and toilet. The bedroom is upstairs and has two single beds. From the skylight you have a wide view over the mud flats and on a clear day you can see the mainland. The kitchen includes a microwave/oven. There is also a washer and dryer in the house. Of course, there is also TV and internet in the vacation home. On the south side is a private terrace.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located in the quiet village of Kinnum in the polder of Terschelling just below the wadden sea dike. 5 km from the ferry. Birding is possible everywhere, in the polder is a meadow bird eldorado, over the dike to the Wadden Sea ditto, only these are again mudflats birds, but directly around the cottage, the birds are also numerous. The forest is also nearby, as well as the beautiful dune area. The North Sea beach at Midsland aan zee is 4.3 km cycling, The beach at West aan Zee can be reached on foot in 4 km through a partly unpaved path. The truly unique nature reserve "Boschplaat" is a small 10 km cycling or walking, it may all. What I would find convenient when I go to the island, is to put the car on long parking in Harlingen, take the boat, rent a (electric) bike, and start enjoying, the bike rental company brings and retrieves you luggage for free, it's just a tip!!!
