A 25-minute walk or 5-minute bike ride away is the cozy esdorp Norg with a good mix of cozy restaurants and stores. A butcher, bakery, fish cart and the weekly fresh market every Wednesday. There are two supermarkets, a tropical swimming pool, tennis and padel courts, a golf course and two wellness centers in the immediate vicinity. Surrounded by beautiful natural areas, you can enjoy recreational opportunities such as the many bicycle and mountain bike routes to charming villages such as Roden and Veenhuizen. Or walk through nature reserves such as the Noordsche Veld, Fochteloërveen and the Langeloërduinen. For some more culture and excitement, the cities of Assen and Groningen are nearby where you can visit museums or spend a day shopping.
