Welcome to our cozy nature house. centrally located in the beautiful village of Westbroek. After the haystack served many years on the farm, we have now converted it into a cozy vacation home where characteristic elements such as the poles, the roof construction, pulley and winch have been preserved. The rural decor, natural materials and old features such as the beamed ceiling with wooden floor, give the whole a cozy feeling.The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dishwasher, espresso machine, oven and microwave.The house has 2 bedrooms, both with double bed. Wake up in the morning to the singing of the birds and enjoy the living painting from your bed in 'the hayloft'. The 2nd bedroom is on the ground floor, as is the bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet. Plenty of bath linen is provided, and on your arrival we will make sure the beds are made.
Nature and surroundings
This nature house is located at the back of our yard, with a beautiful view over the land with the sheep and their lambs. Enjoy the tranquility, sunrise and sunset. There are plenty of cycling opportunities. From the yard you bike right into the village of Westbroek with its beautiful farms and mansions. Taste the atmosphere of the surrounding nature and villages, and within half an hour you can reach the center of Utrecht. Or take a walk through the unique sod area (Bert forest path) and have lunch or dinner in the historic Fort de Gagel. Discover the history of Westbroek and the entire vechtstreek in the Vechtstreek Museum in Maarssen or visit the picturesque Vecht village Oud-Zuilen with the various attractions that have been preserved, such as Slot Zuylen, the windmills and estates. In the neighboring village of Maartensdijk you will find a supermarket, bakery, greengrocer and drugstore. Within walking distance you can reach a bus stop so you can also travel to Utrecht by ov.
