Our vacation home is located on the outskirts of Gräsmark, a charming village in the Swedish region of Värmland. It’s nestled in the heart of nature, surrounded by forests, lakes, and hills. From the cottage, you can walk right into the forest, where you can spot moose, pick berries, or build a fire at the fire pit. You can also enjoy playing by the flowing water in the woods or swimming in the lake. Thanks to its central location, you’re just 400 meters from the local village grocery store for fresh bread, cinnamon buns, or ice cream. Our cozy, spacious stuga (95 m²) is located on the outskirts of the village, with the forest right behind the house. It sleeps 6 people and features 3 comfortable bedrooms. Recently fully renovated and equipped with central heating and a wood stove for cozy evenings. Very child-friendly, with plenty of toys and space to play—an ideal spot for peace, nature, and family fun in Sweden. Outdoor furniture is provided so you can enjoy the outdoors when the weather is nice.
Nature and surroundings
This nature house is located in the heart of Värmland, a region known for its vast forests, clear lakes, and tranquil landscapes. Here, you’ll wake up to birdsong and the rustling of the trees, and in the evening, you’ll enjoy a starry sky like you rarely see in the Netherlands. The area around Gräsmark is pristine and unspoiled. You can walk straight into the forest from the cabin, where moose, roe deer, and countless bird species live. In the summer, you can swim or canoe on one of the many nearby lakes, while fall brings spectacular colors and is perfect for long hikes and picking berries and mushrooms. In winter, the landscape transforms into a white fairy tale, and you can go cross-country skiing or simply enjoy the serene silence. For those looking for a bit more excitement, both Sunne and Torsby are a short distance away. Here you’ll find shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions—all while nature remains close at hand.

If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount. After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:

• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refunded
• on the day of arrival or later: no refund
