Our vacation home you will find on the outskirts of Gräsmark. A charming village in the Swedish region of Värmland. From the cottage you can walk into the forest where you can spot moose, pick berries or make a fire at the fireplace. You can also enjoy playing by the running water in the forest or swimming in the lake. Thanks to its central location you are within 400 meters at the local village supermarket for fresh bread, cinnamon rolls or an ice cream.Our cozy spacious stuga (95 m²) is located on the outskirts of the village, with the forest right behind the house. Suitable for 6 persons, with 3 comfortable bedrooms. Recently completely renovated and equipped with central heating and wood stove for cozy evenings. Very child friendly, with plenty of toys and space to play - an ideal place for peace, nature and family fun in Sweden. Outdoor furniture available to enjoy outdoors in nice weather.
Nature and surroundings
This nature house is located in the heart of Värmland, a region known for its vast forests, clear lakes and quiet landscapes. Here you wake up to birdsong and the rustling of the trees, and at night you can enjoy a starry sky the likes of which you seldom see in the Netherlands. The environment of Gräsmark is pure and unspoiled. Directly from the cottage you can walk into the forest, where elk, deer and numerous bird species live. In summer you can swim or canoe on one of the many lakes nearby, while autumn brings spectacular colors and is perfect for long walks and picking berries and mushrooms. In winter the landscape turns into a white fairy tale and you can go cross-country skiing or just enjoy the serene silence.For those looking for something more lively, both Sunne and Torsby are a short distance away. Here you will find stores, restaurants and cultural attractions, but always with nature close by.
