The Hide is a Tiny house on the edge of nature reserve Pig Country - named after the classic bird watching hut, a place to still and immerse yourself in what's around you. 20m² tiny house with a split-level bedroom. - Upstairs bedroom: bed 180×200 - Comfortable sofa bed downstairs: 140×200 with topper - Closet space - Hob & oven - Dishwasher - Quooker - Refrigerator - Nespresso machine - Private terrace facing the meadows - Kayak and canoe available The cottage is part of our plot, where we live with two children and two cats. Important to know: The ceiling of the sleeping area on the mezzanine is low and the stairs are steep. Not suitable for people who do not have good mobility.
Nature and surroundings
Located in Watergang, one of the most beautiful authentic villages of North Holland. Ten minutes from Amsterdam, here you are for a moment in another world. Pheasants walking around, spoonbills flying overhead. Cows curiously standing by your terrace in the morning. And if you're lucky, the kingfisher or the hare. For people who want to sit in peace for a while. Birdwatchers. Cyclists who want to explore North Holland. Families with children who want to see what a hare or pheasant looks like in real life. Not suitable for people with leg problems (steep stairs) or for those looking for a party. By bus: there is a bus that stops at the village, then it's a 5 min walk. The bus takes you in 10 min to Amsterdam Noord and 15 min to Amsterdam center. No supermarket in the village, bring what you want. There is a garage to lock your bikes in. Free parking in the village.
