On the winding Dinkel River, surrounded by nature, stand two charming nature houses. The houses can be rented separately or booked together—ideal for families or friends who want to enjoy each other’s company while maintaining their privacy. This nature house dates back to 1932 and has been carefully renovated and expanded over the years. The traditional stone masonry, combined with wooden siding, gives the house a warm, natural look. The covered area at the front offers a lovely spot to sit outside. Inside, the cottage is cozy and practically furnished. The inviting living area features a modern built-in kitchen (2019) with a refrigerator and freezer compartment, an induction cooktop, an exhaust hood, and an oven. Through the entryway, you’ll find a small bedroom, the master bedroom, and the bathroom with a toilet, sink, and shower stall.
Nature and surroundings
The nature houses are located on a spacious shared lot of no less than 4,310 m², where space, tranquility, and nature come together. Here, you’ll experience the ultimate outdoor feeling. The garden borders directly on the picturesque Dinkel River, which winds its way through the landscape in a breathtaking manner. Waking up in the morning to the soothing sound of babbling water—who doesn’t dream of that? This nature house is located in the beautiful Dinkel Valley in Twente, right next to the Het Lutterzand nature reserve. The house gets its name from the stunning view of the Dinkel River, which can be admired from both the kitchen window and the terrace. In the immediate vicinity, you’ll find numerous hiking and biking trails that take you through forests, across heathland, and along the water. Cozy restaurants and outdoor cafes are just a 5- to 10-minute bike ride away. A place to unwind, enjoy yourself, and become completely immersed in nature. So it’s not uncommon to wake up to a deer in the garden!
