The Luxury Safari Tent (1-4p) is a nice place for those who want to combine the outdoor feeling of camping with nice comfort. And when it gets chilly? The tent is tastefully and practically furnished, with comfortable beds and a private toilet in the accommodation. In the kitchen you can easily cook on the gas stove and thanks to the refrigerator with freezer compartment your groceries will stay nice and fresh. In the morning you can start the day with an espresso from the espresso machine. Shower in the neat sanitary building on the campsite. So you can enjoy the real outdoors, but with all conveniences at your fingertips. On the farm 't Looveld you can experience the real life on a dairy farm in Drenthe. Here, farmer Johan and farmer's wife Matine run the farm with their family, where about ninety dairy cows and curious calves are cared for and milked daily. For children there is always something to do.
Nature and surroundings
Farm 't Looveld is located in the middle of the peaceful Drenthe countryside, near the esdorp Zweeloo. Here you wake up overlooking green meadows, wooded banks and winding country roads. The area is known for its beautiful nature with forests, moors and extensive bike paths. Get on your bike or put on your walking shoes and discover the tranquility of Drenthe. Nearby you will find nature reserves such as the Sleenerzand and the Mepperdennen, where you can take lovely walks and maybe even encounter a deer or a shepherd with his flock. Also nice villages and cozy cafes are a short distance away. So you combine life on the farm with endless outdoor play and discovery in nature.
