The Luxury Safari Tent (1-6p) is a nice place for those who want to combine the outdoor feeling of camping with nice comfort. And when it gets chilly? With the air conditioning in the tent it always remains pleasant (hot and cold). The tent is tastefully and practically furnished, with comfortable beds and a private toilet in the accommodation. In the kitchen you can easily cook on the gas stove and thanks to the fridge with freezer compartment your groceries will stay nice and fresh. In the morning you can start the day with an espresso from the espresso machine. Shower in the neat sanitary building on the campsite. So you can enjoy the real outdoors, but with all the conveniences within easy reach. On De Oostermaat farm in Genemuiden (Overijssel) you will stay on a modern dairy farm, quietly behind the dike in the open polder landscape. Watch the milking, visit the calves and cuddle the farm animals. There is plenty of room for children to play in the yard.
Nature and surroundings
Farm De Oostermaat is located in the quiet polder landscape of Overijssel, near Genemuiden. Here you look out over vast meadows, ditches and long dikes. The area is perfect for cycling or walking through the open landscape. A short distance away are the beautiful Hanseatic cities of Kampen, Hasselt and Zwolle, where you can stroll through historic streets, find nice stores and sit down on a terrace. Also nature park De Weerribben-Wieden is nearby. This special nature reserve with reed beds, lakes and winding waterways is ideal for exploring by boat, bike or on foot. In this way you combine the quiet life on the farm with beautiful nature and atmospheric towns in the area.
