Enjoy peace, space and nature in this comfortable vacation home for 6 people on the beautiful Leekstermeer lake. An ideal place to relax in the middle of greenery, but still want to stay close to the city of Groningen. The house is on one level and has three spacious bedrooms, so everyone enjoys plenty of privacy and comfort. In the spacious living room, the large pallet stove provides a warm, cozy atmosphere during cooler evenings. The open kitchen is fully equipped and along with the living room forms a nice, bright living space where you can cook, eat and relax together. Outside you will find an enclosed garden where you can quietly enjoy the outdoors. From the house you can walk towards the lake for a refreshing swim, a nice walk or a relaxing afternoon at the water's edge.For the active guests there are 3 Sup's for rentperfect to discover the Leekstermeer from the water.
Nature and surroundings
Around the vacation home you will enjoy pure peace and vast nature on the beautiful Leekstermeer. This vast lake is known for its reed beds, open water and impressive skies that constantly change color. In the early morning there is often a light mist hanging over the water and you will only hear birds and the soft rustling of the reeds. The house is located in nature reserve Matsloot, a watery landscape with winding bike paths, hiking trails and plenty of opportunities for boating or supping. Here you will experience the typical Groningen landscape: space, silence and vistas. Yet the city is also nearby. Within a short time you can reach the cozy center of Groningen. So you can effortlessly combine relaxation in nature with culture, stores and terraces.
