This Nature House is a friendly and attractively decorated wooden chalet where heating is provided by two pellet stoves. Only gas is used for cooking. The hot water is provided by means of a boiler (80 liters) It is smoke-free and because of the wooden construction also fire-free. That means no open fires (and BBQ) may be fired. The Hoenderhof belongs to a property of the owner of which a portion is accessible with beautiful views over the countryside. It has its own largely fenced garden with several cozy sitting areas / terraces. It is a place of tranquility where squirrels can sometimes cross your path. Many birds chatter in the trees and the insect highway is right behind the yard. The silence is truly deafening. Important is your respect for the beautiful nature in which the Hoenderhof is located. There is also an information folder where you can find all the necessary and useful information.
Nature and surroundings
The cottage is located in the yard of a former worker's house built in 1893 located in a small village with a single road. Parking is available in its own yard in a carport. It is surrounded by nature and silence as well as beautiful views of the countryside. Nearby is the natural swimming area the Kibbelkoele and many beautiful forest hiking trails. A dolmen "De Papelozekerk " is 5 minutes away. Of course there are numerous bicycle paths and hiking trails such as "The Pieterpad", the "Veenbesroute" and the "Vosseroute". In the Hoenderhof is an information folder that can help you further explore the area.
