Discover our cozy, newly renovated stuga on a unique small-scale, ecological vegetable and flower farm. This cozy accommodation is perfect for two adults (without pets) and offers everything you need for a comfortable stay: a fully equipped kitchen, a modern bathroom and a cozy dining area. Outside, a spacious, new veranda and comfortable sitting areas in the garden await, ideal for enjoying the view. The beautiful lake Glafsfjorden can be reached by a short walk across our private property. The stuga has no wifi or TV, but it does have a CD player with a small selection of CDs. You can also play music via Bluetooth. There are also a few (board) games available. The stuga is next to our house where we, Astrid & Pieter live. Although we do not live "in the middle of nowhere" we very regularly see deer and even moose in the garden! A fine base for outdoor people and nature lovers - come and experience it for yourself!
Nature and surroundings
Nature in Värmland is overwhelming. Just a 20-minute drive away is the Glaskogen Nature Reserve, a beautiful place for endless walks and canoe trips. The cozy town of Arvika is also about 20 minutes away, with plenty of stores and restaurants. If you prefer to stay close by, you'll be right with us. Our extensive yard has direct access to the lake Glafsfjorden, with a beautiful view over the water. In 2026 we will start our ecological vegetable and flower garden in the field next to the stuga. Fresh vegetables and flowers will then be for sale directly from us in the small farm store. Are you interested in vegetable gardening? Feel free to talk to us - we are happy to share our passion. We are easy to reach by public transport, the bus stop with a direct connection to Arvika is a few minutes walk away (about 500m). There is a train station in Arvika with a direct connection to Oslo, Stockholm and Karlstad.
