In the back of our garden, 50 meters from our house, you will find our Podhouse with an unobstructed view over the countryside. You get to this fine spot by following the lighted path along the side of our garden. It is a grass path which can be slightly muddy in the wet periods. It is a cozy cottage on the border with Germany, which we have decorated with great pleasure and attention to detail. We have situated the cottage so that it gives a lot of privacy. Next to the cottage you will find our goat house where Lotje and Mekkie come to greet you. At the front there is a green terrace where you can enjoy the view in peace. It is fully insulated and can be kept warm in winter with an electric heater. It is equipped with a kitchenette with cold and hot water, small refrigerator, Nespresso machine and kettle. Furthermore, the cottage has a compact bathroom with a shower cabin and fixed toilet. And the cozy sitting area with games completes it all!
Nature and surroundings
In the surroundings of Barger-Compascuum you can enjoy cycling or walking in one of the many natural areas which can be found in this border region. In the village you will find an outdoor museum "Het Veenpark". In the village next to us, Emmer-Compascuum, you will find several supermarkets and other stores. Within cycling distance you will find the places Klazienaveen and Emmen where you can store, enjoy the catering or visit the zoo for example. Optional additional booking: Japanese head spa.The head spa is an invigorating treatment that combines hair and scalp care with a feeling of complete relaxation and various massages on the face,neck,shoulder&arms.When booking the pod ask about the possibilities.
