Escape the hustle and bustle and unwind in our brand new chalet, hidden among the greenery of our campsite. You can enjoy the sun, birdsong and a good book on your own private terrace. The chalet is suitable for 1 to 4 people. Ideal for couples, solo rest seekers, small families or grandpa & grandma with (grand)child. Inside you will find a bright, warm interior where you immediately feel at home. In our chalet is a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, refrigerator, induction hob, nespresso, kettle and all the utensils you need. You have your own bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. There is one bedroom with a lovely double bed and one bedroom with 2x single beds. All beds are made upon arrival. There is also a nice living room with a comfortable sofa and TV. Outside there is a nice big private terrace, surrounded by greenery.
Nature and surroundings
The Burgundian city of 's-Hertogenbosch is located 11 kilometers from our campsite. A beautiful city where everything is to experience, beautiful museums, canal cruise on the Old Binnendieze, great shopping and delicious restaurants. Castle Heeswijk exists almost 1000 years! It has a rich history and is beautifully situated in the Brabant forests. You can visit the castle or take beautiful walks in the area, hiking & biking: Our campsite is located in the Meierij and close to the river Aa. There are beautiful hiking and cycling routes in our neighborhood. In the woods around the campsite there are also several mountain bike trails. Canoeing: On the other side of the village lies the meandering river Aa where you can make beautiful canoe trips. On the route you come across several beaver dams and often the kingfisher is spotted. Swimming: supboarding or taking a dive is possible in the Meerse Plas (11min drive) Let yourself be surprised by what you can do in our neighborhood.

The cottage itself was new and nicely decorated, but the immediate surroundings were a letdown because of the noisy campground.

The cottage is located on the edge of a campground, and right next to it, a group of about 10 adults and 8 children set up camp on Friday afternoon. They set up a picnic table, brought out the wine and beer, and things got very lively and noisy. This didn’t stop until half past midnight. The children were also screaming their heads off until around 11 p.m. Of course, it’s a campground, and a group can set up there. But I expect something different from a nature house. More seclusion, more peace and quiet, few other people. By the way, on Friday evening, a camper also parked right in front of our view. I simply missed the nature experience I expect from a nature house. The owner did go talk to the group, and on Saturday night they were much quieter, so we had a great weekend. Laat ik eerlijk zijn: de ruimte, rust en natuur rondom het huisje vielen erg tegen. Het huisje staat aan de rand van een camping en direct naast het huisje zette op vrijdagmiddag een groep van ongeveer 10 volwassenen en 8 kinderen een kamp op. Er werd een picknicktafel bij gezet, de wijn en het bier kwamen op tafel en het werd erg gezellig en luidruchtig. Dit stopte pas om halfeen ‘s nachts. Ook de kinderen gilden er lekker op los tot een uur of 11. Natuurlijk is het een camping en kan daar een groep staan. Maar ik verwacht van een natuurhuisje iets anders. Meer afgelegen, meer rust, weinig andere mensen. Er kwam trouwens ook op vrijdagavond nog een camper recht voor ons uitzicht staan. Ik miste gewoon de natuurervaring die ik verwacht van een natuurhuisje. De eigenares is wel met de groep gaan praten en op zaterdagavond waren ze veel stiller, dus we hebben een prima weekend gehad. Maar de vraag is: hoort dit huisje thuis op natuurhuisje.nl?
