This cozy, detached cottage is fully furnished and has a very complete kitchen. It is located behind our residence, half in the woods. You sleep in a double box spring (entry at the foot end). If you need rest, nature, a ride on our e-bikes and maybe an evening of outdoor wellness, you are welcome. OUTDOOR WELLNESS: from 18.00-23.00 you can enjoy sauna, jacuzzi and indoor lounge with wood stove 30m from the studio (private use; only bookable as a whole; bathing clothes not allowed). Extra charge €40 per evening (cash). LIVING DOG(S): the garden is fully fenced with mesh and has a gate to the forest (food bowls and dog towels provided). Surcharge €25 per stay (cash). FREE: wifi, TV, Netflix, use e-bikes, stove wood, Senseo coffee, tea, sugar&creamer, kitchen herbs, cooking butter, oil&vinegar, pepper&salt, dishwasher tablets, dish soap, hand soap, shampoo, shower gel, cotton pads, toilet paper, bathrobe and sauna towel.
Nature and surroundings
The rural village of Hoenderloo is surrounded by vast Veluwe forests, sand drifts and heathlands. From the nature house you can explore the beautiful surroundings on foot or by bicycle and fully enjoy nature. Several long-distance hiking trails run through Hoenderloo. And with the ANWB cycling node planner you can easily put together the most beautiful cycling routes. Within walking distance you will find The Hoge Veluwe National Park with its Kröller Müller Museum. And in the slightly further surroundings there is much more to enjoy, such as 't Leesten, Radio Kootwijk with its "cathedral", the waterfalls in Loenen and the Deeler Forest. In the woods near the cottage is a badger sett. With a little luck you can hear the badgers scurrying at night. Also living there are foxes, stone martens, squirrels and many bird species including woodpeckers, blackbirds, robins and tits. If you stay with us during the rutting season (Sept./Oct.), then you can enjoy the roaring of the red deer.
