What a nice place and what a nice cottage! In a beautifully landscaped garden with lots of greenery, terraces, and pond lies the beautiful Berger Alm. You look out over a beautiful Dutch polder landscape. The cozy center of Bergen is about 10 walking minutes away. The beautiful dune landscape, historic Alkmaar and the beaches of Bergen aan Zee are nearby. The Berger Alm is comfortably furnished and has a bright living room with a sitting area, doors to the terrace, an open kitchen, dining table, smart TV, internet, a bluetooth music box and a beautiful fireplace. The wide double bed, overlooking the meadows, is also in the living room. The small bathroom has a shower cabin, toilet and a sink. On your own terrace (plenty of privacy) you have garden furniture, deck chairs, barbecue, parasol etc. You can park your car on the private property. The Berger Alm is a wonderful place to unwind.
Nature and surroundings
The cottage is located on the east side of Bergen overlooking the meadows towards the North Holland Canal. Sometimes the farmer's cows are in the pasture and then surprise you with a holland landscape. Berger Alm is at the end of the garden. The garden is spacious with flowers, grass and an elongated pond. In the garden there is a sweet (big) dog. It is a beautiful Bernese Mountain dog who will most likely always greet you enthusiastically. Besides the dog there are chickens scurrying through the garden that provide cozy plucking. Furthermore, there are bees kept in hives among the trees. 500m away is a dairy where fresh milk, yogurt, cheese, eggs and vegetables are available.
