Escape the hustle and bustle and completely unwind in our cozy guest cottage for two. Here, you’ll be surrounded year-round by the tranquility of nature and the rugged beauty of the famous Eksta Coast, one of Gotland’s most beautiful coastal areas. The newly built, cozy cottage offers a direct view of the forest and is fully equipped with all modern conveniences. The cottage is located on our private property but offers plenty of privacy. We speak English, Dutch, German, and (basic) Swedish, so communication is always easy. Start your day with a cup of coffee on the terrace, listen to the silence, and enjoy the Swedish outdoors. At the end of the day, you can watch the sun slowly set over the Baltic Sea from nearby Ekstakusten. Whether you’re coming for long walks, beautiful bike rides, swimming in the sea (sandy beach 1.8 km away), or simply to do absolutely nothing: this is the place to recharge.
Nature and surroundings
Sandy beaches, forests, and beautiful hiking trails are right at your doorstep. You can head straight into nature from the cottage: take a long walk along the coast, hop on a bike to explore the island, or find a quiet spot by the sea. Because the island is relatively compact, you can easily explore different parts of Gotland from our cottage—from the rugged southern tip near Hoburgen to Fårö in the north, and from small beaches to cozy cafés and restaurants in medieval Visby. Gotland is known for its long, bright summer days and pleasant climate. While southern Europe is getting hotter and hotter, on Gotland you can enjoy plenty of sunshine and the great outdoors. Plenty of nature, plenty of space, plenty of summer—and surprisingly close by (with SAS, you can fly from Amsterdam to Gotland in about 4 hours, including a layover). Leave the hustle and bustle and extreme heat of Southern Europe behind, come to Gotland, and discover your favorite corner of Sweden.

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
- Out of respect for nature: silence between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
- Minimum age of main booker: 18 years.
- Smoking is not allowed in this nature house.
- No fireworks are allowed at this Nature House.
- No parties or events are allowed.
- This nature house is not suitable for groups of young people, students and sports teams.
- Waste separation is mandatory in this nature house.
