Welcome Two cottages: plenty of privacy & comfort (4 bathrooms, 2 wood stoves, 2 smarttv's, underfloor heating etc) Each cottage is fully equipped for 6 people. Indoor/outdoor experience, sleek design, warm coziness of a wood stove/fire bowl. You can find a map of the location of the cottages with the photos. Cozy together around a large fire bowl, for example? Together on a hillside? All 4 cottages of the DWAALSTERREN are unique, inside and outside, you will not find a second one! Active, vital families, retreat group, study group, athletes: all are welcome! Information and advice can be requested via the chat. Option: Bed and bath linen can be rented via a day service, a late check-out is also possible on request (until 6 p.m. low season €150).
Nature and surroundings
There are on the edge of the Terhorsterzand/Dwingelderveld, a beautiful nature reserve, the four cottages have been realized under architecture. (2024) by architect Nynke Rixt Jukema. From the living room on the top floor, you not only have a view of forest (spot the deer) but a view over the nature reserve. There is plenty of walking, cycling, swimming -in fens, lakes or small pool-. Each cottage has a terrace, a veranda on the hill, in the gardens there are picnic tables and lovely relaxing chairs. The cottages are on the edge of a quiet area where it is quiet and very dark at night. Let yourself be surprised, recharge in one of the cozy and atmospheric cottages! A shared simple heated swimming pool (open in June, July and August=free/camping) is 300 meters walking distance. The cottages are on private property on a cul-de-sac.
