Spend the night in a cozy sleeping cottage in the middle of nature. Are you looking for a cozy and unique place to spend the night in the middle of nature? Our tiny sleeping cottage offers everything you need for a relaxing stay for two. This tiny sleeping cottage is small but fine, and is suitable for 2 persons. There is a double bed ready for you, get in and enjoy. Would you like to come with more people? Then you can put an extra tent or book an extra camping spot. There is also the possibility to add a fresh breakfast. Inside the cottage you will find everything you need for a hot drink or a simple breakfast: kettle and coffeemaker, coffee, tea and filter bags, plates, cups and cutlery in a small kitchen cupboard. To prepare a simple meal you can use the 3-burner gas stove under the common roof. While you cook, you can enjoy the panoramic view and the fresh Frisian air.
Nature and surroundings
You can use the renovated sanitary building on the campsite. There is also a wonderful outdoor shower for those who love the outdoor feeling. A towel set is waiting for you. From the campsite you can walk straight into the nature reserve It Easterskar. Here you can experience the silence of Frisian reed lands, ponds and swamp forests. Follow one of the walking routes and spot special bird species in bird-watching cabin 'De Skiere Goes'. Cycle routes around Rotstergaast and Oranjewoud Enjoy the Frisian countryside around Rotstergaast by bike. Cycle along beautiful rural paths to the regal Oranjewoud, with its stately avenues and country houses. On the way you pass the park De Overtuin, where the annual Oranjewoud Festival takes place.
