Our charming vacation home is situated in a private setting at Klein Schoor Natural Campground, a small-scale 2-hectare nature campground where peace, space, and nature take center stage. With three bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a modern bathroom, and a lovely courtyard with a lounge set, it’s a wonderful place to relax and recharge together. As a guest of the vacation home, you also have access to the facilities at the nature campground. Cool off at the swimming pond, read a book in the teepee, enjoy a refreshing outdoor shower, or unwind in the open-air yoga tent. A place for nature lovers, those seeking peace and quiet, families, and anyone who longs for simplicity, space, and the rhythm of nature.
Nature and surroundings
Thanks to various Natura 2000 areas and national parks, a beautiful hiking or biking trip is always nearby. Visit De Groote Peel National Park, the green Leudal region, or the Weerterbos. In the immediate vicinity of Klein Schoor are the Natura 2000 areas De Kwegt, Sarsven, and De Banen, where you can enjoy beautiful walks and spot (water)birds. A trip to the “white town” of Thorn, the lively market in Weert, or the historic downtown of Roermond is definitely recommended. On hot days, you can cool off at the Maasplassen and Het Blauwe Meertje. For kids, there are fun outdoor swimming pools just a 15-minute drive away. And a must-visit! Hof van Schoor Tea Room. Just a short walk from Klein Schoor is this cozy tea room, where they serve delicious coffee, pastries, lunch, and high tea.
