Our ornamental garden is home to a restored nursery barn dating from 1900. As you stroll through, you can enjoy watching the birds and the pond teeming with insects. The garden opens up your perspective and gives you a pleasant, cozy feeling. The barn is situated among the tree nurseries in Hazerswoude-dorp on the Padesche Wetering. On the terrace by the water, you can unwind; time seems to slow down, and you might even spot a kingfisher flying by. The lovingly restored, characterful barn exudes a sense of the past while offering all modern comforts for a relaxing stay. On the ground floor, you’ll find a well-equipped kitchen with an induction cooktop, a Senseo coffee maker, and a kettle. There’s also a toilet and a spacious bathroom with a sink and a walk-in shower. The French doors invite you to step outside, and windows all around blur the line between indoors and outdoors. A staircase leads to the first floor, where the old rafters embrace the space; the double bed and the small double bed in the box bed give you a sense of security.

Enjoying the view of the Padesche Wetering, surrounded by the greenery of the tree nurseries. Experience the peace and space of the Green Heart, literally among the trees. A place to find yourself, to watch the soft light play on the old pear tree, and to give yourself room to breathe. Wake up to the sound of birdsong, enjoy the view of the water and greenery. You might enjoy hopping in a canoe to explore the old nursery’s waterways and the boating village of Rietveld. Discover beautiful hiking and biking trails around the village of Hazerswoude and throughout the Green Heart. Explore the relatively new Bentwoud area by bike or on foot. And it’s less than 30 km to the beach. Centrally located between historic cities such as Delft, Gouda, and Leiden. Amsterdam, Utrecht, and Rotterdam are also easily accessible; the Boskoop train station is just 3 km away. In short, a delightful place with the barn standing as a silent sentinel in the ancient peatlands of Hazerswoude-Dorp.
