This detached house is located on the edge of the forest. The ground floor dates from medieval times, while the two upper floors are completely new. A stream flows through the garden and the house has access to clean spring water. The house has a spacious bathroom with walk-in shower, underfloor heating, active ventilation and a modern kitchen. The garden is partly illuminated and the house has a spacious balcony where it is nice from spring to autumn. The garden is accessed by stairs from the balcony, through the garden flows a small stream and there is a small ornamental garden. From mid-June to late August, the house is rented including a heated pool. The pool has its own terrace with heater.The area is particularly suitable for hiking, cycling and motorcycling. The Czech border is only a few kilometers away.
Nature and surroundings
Neuhausen is a small village located right in the middle of the old salt route between Leipzig and Prague. In the center is Purschenstein Castle. Dresden, Chemnitz, Prague and Saxon Switzerland are all within a 1 to 1.5 hour drive. Saxony has many castles and fortresses. In winter, there are numerous opportunities for winter sports. Chair elevators can be found in Kliny, Czech Republic. Sights nearby include woodcarving village Seiffen, castle Augustusburg, the bobsled run in Altenberg. In addition, many old ore mines can be visited. Hiking trails start right at the house, nearby are many other trails for every level. A mountain bike route "Blockline" of a total of 140 kilometers runs right past the house. Electric mountain bikes can be rented nearby. The nature is characterized as low mountain range with many streams and peaks around 900 meters and a crest height of about 550 meters.
