A small hermitage for a maximum of two guests: romantics, dreamers and anyone looking for peace and quiet. Our Tiny House is nestled in the wide meadows of the Kunterbunthof farm. Currants and apples grow next to the hut, and in the morning there is a breakfast spot with a sweeping view over the farm. The little house is deliberately kept simple, rustic and cosy: a sleeping nest for two, a table with two benches and a small selection of hand-picked books. Cooking is done outside: meals can be prepared in the open air in the outdoor kitchen with running water, fridge, camping stove and toaster. Two spacious shower rooms are available in the nearby culture barn, where there is also Wi-Fi. We deliberately choose not to have a TV in favor of being truly offline. Pets are welcome, bed linen and towels are included, parking spaces are available and the separate entrance ensures privacy.
Nature and surroundings
The Kunterbunthof is a place to arrive and take a deep breath. For people who are looking for peace and quiet, enjoy sitting around a campfire, appreciate good Spanish wines, write, think, create - or simply want to unwind. Situated between the Baltic Sea and the Sternberg lake district, the farm is the ideal starting point for cycling and hiking tours, excursions to the nature-protected island of Poel or to the historic Hanseatic cities of Rostock, Wismar and Lübeck. The sea, lakes and culture are close by - and yet everything feels far away. Curious? Various accommodation options are available all year round: a vacation apartment in an old farmhouse, two Breton yurts, a rustic tiny house and pitches for campers and tents. More is in the pipeline.
