Our yurt combines craftsmanship, nature, and tranquility to create a special retreat. The finest wood, red canvas, and Breton sheep’s wool create a cozy atmosphere. On cool evenings, the fireplace crackles, the handcrafted bed invites you to dream—and through the glass dome in the roof, you can see the stars at night. The yurt stands alone on a sunny meadow, about 100 m from the main house, right next to Northern Europe’s largest stone slinger. It’s ideal for two people: a retreat for romantics, those seeking a break, and anyone who wants to read or write a thick book. A kitchenette with a refrigerator, hot plates, and a toaster makes self-catering easy. You can wind down the day on the sun terrace. Two bathrooms with showers are available in the nearby cultural barn; Wi-Fi is also available there. Pets are welcome; bed linens and towels are included; parking is available; and the separate entrance ensures privacy.

The Kunterbunthof is a place to arrive and take a deep breath. It’s for people who seek silence, enjoy sitting by the campfire, appreciate fine Spanish wines, write, think, create—or simply want to let their minds wander. The noise of the big city stays outside; conversations and time come back into focus. Located between the Baltic Sea and the Sternberg Lake District, the farm is an ideal starting point for biking and hiking tours, as well as excursions to the nature-protected island of Poel or to the historic Hanseatic cities of Rostock, Wismar, and Lübeck. The sea, lakes, and culture are close by—and yet it all feels far away. Curious? Various accommodations are available year-round: a vacation apartment in the old farmhouse, two Breton yurts, a rustic tiny house, and campsites for RVs and tents. More is in the works.
