Our lovely vacation home in Mjönäs, in the middle of the province of Värmland, is available for rent starting summer 2026! Nature, peace, culture, space and relaxation are the keywords of this vacation home. A cozy, fine and comfortable vacation home, surrounded by a large garden with apple trees, where with great regularity the deer graze and with a little luck you can also see a fox and very occasionally a moose.The house is located on the outskirts of a small village, and behind the house flows the river Klarälven. On the ground floor are the hall and toilet, the fully equipped kitchen, the cozy living room with wood stove, and the spacious bright dining room with large dining table and doors to the lovely covered veranda. Upstairs are the bathroom with shower and sink and 2 spacious bedrooms with good comfortable beds. The washing machine is in the basement. Outside are the wood-fired sauna and outdoor shower (with hot & cold water) and the fixed barbecue. Pets by arrangement.
Nature and surroundings
Directly around the house you can already enjoy the forests, lakes, hills and views of the province of Värmland: Hiking or hiking in the forests, on marked trails (at different levels), or just in the forest next to the village. Adventurous mountain biking or just cycling, the famous Klarälvbanan bicycle route is nearby. Fishing, swimming, boating or paddling on a sup-board on one of the many large and small lakes. Golfing at the golf course fifteen minutes drive away, or disk-golfing, the new national outdoor pastime in Sweden, also in the forest in Mjönäs is a route plotted. At about 45-60 minutes away Brattfallet waterfall and the hiking (ski) area Hovfjallet. Or visit one of the towns: Sunne, Hagfors or Torsby Munkfors is 10 minutes drive, for daily shopping, but also for culture, history, a museum and a natural river-waterfall. The cozy city of Karlstad is about 70 km away.
