Welcome to Lost Farm, a large farmhouse on the wild coastal peninsula of Sjællands Odde, Denmark. The detached 250m2 home sits in the tiny and quiet hamlet of Yderby on the edge of Havnebyen- a local harbour with sauna. Beaches are within walking distance on either side of the peninsula. The holiday home is suitable for relaxing inside and out, no matter the weather (cosey fireplace for winter). A lovely way to truely enjoy Sjællands Odde’s nature and coastal offerings. The house is bright and spacious and friendly for families with children and babies. Great for family gettogethers There is a lot of unique things to do at the house and in Odden, just ask! Nb. The house is large, bright and spatious. It is very comfortable for 8 people and easy with 10 people. As there are 4 double bedrooms (one with a double bunkbed) and a large living room with a double daybed in it- which can also be used. (In addition there is an airbed bed available to move to whatever room you prefer).
Nature and surroundings
Sjællands Odde is a wonderful nature spot with coast on either side it can feel like you are on a small island. The area is wild nature- rugged with pebble beaches then also sandy kid friendly beaches not too far away. The local harbour has a sauna you can get access to, the lively area is a working fishing village that has some tourist offerings such as icecream and even a Persion inspired restaurant. Local produce is supplied by Birkamosegaard Farm and restaurant as well as Kiosken a local project and deli around anarchistic and democratic food processes and produce The land on the property is wild and large, sometimes a local young farmer experiments on the land. A very pleasant and spacious house. It’s in a quiet location, and you have a beautiful view. The yard around it looks a bit messy, but I think that’s actually part of its charm.
