Our cottage is free on a large playing field with a beautiful view over the farmlands and Midsland. It is a family cottage, built by grandfather and recently renovated and insulated.It is a bungalow, so ground floor only: small hall, bathroom, bedroom with new bunk bed and new mattresses.The dining/living/playroom is in the shape of an L, nice and spacious and light. The kitchen is attached to the dining room area and has been upgraded with a new oven, electric stove and a new dishwasher. The middle bedroom has two single beds and the master bedroom has a double bed. New mattresses here as well.A distinctive arch in the living area divides the dining room and living area.There is a nice little wood stove.The terrace is south facing with great views.The play area is lovely and large. Neighbors are behind the natural screening of bushes and trees. The indicated price per night is for the low season!!! Seasonal prices on request!
Nature and surroundings
Terschelling is nature. You see in the distance the dike of the Wadden Sea, less than a hundred meters behind the cottage the dunes begin, and you will find immediately the "Koreabos", with a wonderful play forest corner for children.In front of the cottage is only endless meadow.Next to and behind are also vacation homes, nice and far away with a dense shrub / trees / ditch strip in between. Dunes, meadows, forests, mudflats and sea all within walking distance. Nature reserves such as the Koegelwieck and boschplaat, a few kilometers by bike. In short: a nature house. Beautiful hiking trails, cycling routes available. Variation enough in terms of landscape. From south to north: mudflats, dike, agriculture, forest and very wide dune landscape and then the endless white beach. From West to East: beautiful green beach with picturesque villages from West via Midsland all the way to Oosterend. And then the big boschplaat all the way to the Amelandergat. And then we also have a special trip, 'the mourning path'....
