Really a very nice cottage in a lovely quiet place! We felt totally zen upon arrival; by the cottage itself, the location, the nice garden. The weather was great, so it seemed like a vacation. The cottage is very cozy and nicely decorated. Everything you need is there. The bedroom is nice and dark at night, nice! You hear nothing but birds and frogs, exactly what you expect in a nature reserve by the water. We were too short to discover the area, but we spent a few hours sitting on a deck on the waterfront with our feet in the water, enjoying the tranquility and the beautiful lake. Lovely! The service before (and after) was really top: the contact went smoothly and the owner (Loes) is incredibly friendly, hospitable, thinks of everything and thinks with us, really nice!

Echt een heel fijn huisje op een heerlijk rustige plek! We voelden ons bij aankomst meteen helemaal zen; door het huisje zelf, de ligging, de fijne tuin. Het weer zat enorm mee, dus het leek wel vakantie. Het huisje is zeer knus en heel gezellig ingericht. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. De slaapkamer is lekker donker 's nachts, fijn! Je hoort er niets dan vogeltjes en kikkers, precies wat je verwacht in een natuurgebied aan het water. We waren er te kort om de omgeving te ontdekken, maar we hebben heerlijk een paar uurtjes op een vlonder aan de waterkant gezeten met de voetjes in het water, genietend van de rust en het prachtige meer. Heer-lijk! De service van tevoren (en ook daarna) was echt top: het contact ging vlot en de eigenares (Loes) is ontzettend vriendelijk, gastvrij, denkt overal aan en denkt mee, echt heel fijn!

This cute little house is definitely worth going to! The communication with Loes was very nice and she responded very quickly when needed. It was also very clean. The only downside was that the bed was a bit too short for my son of 1.96m and the shower cabin is a bit cramped and shaky. We reported this to Loes. If you want to relax, go for a walk, eat in one of the nice restaurants, swim or sunbathe at the lake or go shopping in Groningen, it's all possible!

Dit schattige, kleine huisje is zeker de moeite waard om naartoe te gaan! De communicatie met Loes was heel fijn en ze reageerde heel snel als dit nodig was. Het was ook erg schoon. Het enige nadeel was alleen dat het bed wat te kort was voor mijn zoon van 1.96m en de douchecabine is wat krap en wankel. We hebben dit dan ook gemeld bij Loes. Als je lekker tot rust wilt komen, lekker wil wandelen, hapje eten in 1 van de leuke restaurantjes, zwemmen of zonnen aan het meer of shoppen in Groningen, het kan allemaal!

The cottage is in a very quiet park. All you hear are the bullfrogs and the occasional boat passing by.

Het huisje ligt op een heel rustig park. Het enige dat je hoort zijn de brulkikkers en af en toe een bootje dat langskomt.

Beautiful spot. Only sound; Birds and frogs. Ok t house is somewhat close to other cottages but there is plenty of privacy and everyone comes there for the peace and quiet and to walk cycling or of course to go on the water.

Prachtig plekje. Enige geluid; Vogels en kikkers. Ok t huisje staat wat dicht op andere huisjes maar er is voldoende privacy en iedereen komt daar voor de rust en om te wandelen fietsen of uiteraard om het water op te gaan.
