Experience the real Sweden at this charming vacation home in beautiful Värmland. The house is located near the Klarälven River, with vast forests and nature right on your doorstep. In the fall, the forests turn shades of golden yellow, orange, and red, and in the winter, the surroundings transform into a stunning snowy landscape. The cottage accommodates up to 5 people and features 2 bedrooms, underfloor heating, a cozy fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with a shower, toilet, and washing machine. After a day outdoors, it’s wonderful to come home to the warmth of the fireplace. Guests have free access to our clubhouse, which features a wood stove, foosball, darts, shuffleboard, board games, and a PlayStation 4. Pets are welcome—up to 2. A wonderful spot for those seeking peace and quiet, nature lovers, and families who want to enjoy open spaces, nature, and Swedish hospitality. From the covered patio, you can enjoy the peace and quiet and the lush greenery. The Klarälven River is just a short walk away, and our kayaks are also available for rent for a trip on the water
Nature and surroundings
Around Ekshärad, you’ll discover the beautiful region of Värmland, with its vast pine and birch forests, hills, lakes, and the Klarälven River. Hike or bike through nature, visit the impressive Brattfallet waterfall, and—with a little luck—spot moose, deer, beavers, and other wildlife. In winter, the area transforms into a fairytale-like snow-covered landscape. Go cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, or take a husky or snowmobile tour. For winter sports, Branäs is nearby, offering skiing, a gondola, and night skiing. Långberget, with its extensive cross-country skiing trails, is also a wonderful destination. After an active day, you can once again enjoy the tranquility, snow-covered forests, and clear starry skies. And with a bit of luck, you might even catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights. Värmland offers a special experience in every season. In the warmer months, you can kayak on the Klarälven River, go fishing, bike, and hike endlessly through the forests. Discover the many lakes, enjoy long Swedish summer evenings, and experience the silence and open spaces of authentic Värmland.

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
- Out of respect for nature: silence between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
- Minimum age of main booker: 21 years.
- Smoking is not allowed in this nature house.
- No fireworks are allowed at this Nature House.
- No parties or events are allowed.
- This nature house is not suitable for groups of young people, students and sports teams.
- Waste separation is mandatory in this nature house.
