At this nature house in Aarlanderveen, you can stay overnight in a monumental vacation farmhouse with thatched roof, luxuriously furnished for 10 people and a newly rebuilt Lodge, modern and stylishly furnished for 4 people. There are five spacious bedrooms with box-spring beds in the Farm House and 2 bedrooms with box-spring beds in the Lodge. There are a total of 4 bathrooms and 3 toilets. The Farm House has a spacious eat-in kitchen and a large, bright living room with flat-screen TV and a cozy wood stove. The Lodge has a beautiful cast floor, gas fireplace and open living room with dining kitchen and kitchen island. In addition, there is central heating throughout and Wi-Fi connection available for guests. Please note that we only rent to families or possibly couples over the age of 40. Check-in is between 15-17 hours. If checking in after office hours, please indicate in advance due to possible questions during check-in and our availability by phone contact.
Nature and surroundings
The large garden of these houses has several terraces, allowing you to choose whether to enjoy the sun or shade. You overlook the beautiful orchard and in the large meadow children can play and swing. The farmhouse is located on a large piece of land by the water in the rustic village of Aarlanderveen, near the Nieuwkoop lakes. This nature house is located in the so-called "green heart" of the Netherlands and yet close to the major cities of Amsterdam, Utrecht, The Hague and Rotterdam, as well as the North Sea beaches, Giethoorn and Volendam. There are plenty of outings to do in the area, from sailing, canoeing, rowing, fishing to golfing on the Golf Courses of Alphen aan den Rijn and Nieuwveen. Also nearby are the Roman theme park Het Archeon, the bird park Avifauna and the flower fields at Keukenhof.
