This nature house is an attractive house in the middle of the dunes of West aan Zee on Terschelling, just a few minutes' walk from the North Sea beach. It is one of the first houses built in West aan Zee. After the war, our grandmother had the house restored and it has been carefully maintained ever since. As a result it is now a comfortable, simple and timeless nature house with all the basic amenities of today.Inside you will find a cozy and brightly decorated house with simple but complete furnishings where you can immediately enjoy the house and its surroundings. The living room has a cozy sitting area as well as a fireplace, making it a nice place to gather after a day outside in all seasons. From the living room, kitchen and shower you have an unobstructed view of the beautiful dune landscape. With several bedrooms, this nature house is ideal for families who want to enjoy nature, peace and beauty of Terschelling.

This nature house is really in the middle of the dune, with unobstructed views over the dunes. The beach is about 200 meters away on foot. From the house you can walk straight into the paths through the dunes. Bird lovers can enjoy birds of prey and other species that pass by. It is the ideal base for beach walks, bike rides on the island and long walks through nature. In summer, you can walk barefoot directly from the house to the beach for a wonderful swim. The area has actually been declared a "dark area." So there is very little lighting in the area and at night when there are few clouds this produces spectacular starry skies.
