Nature house in Nieuw Balinge

We had an incredibly nice stay in this cottage. We were looking for a quiet place to study in peace and quiet and it worked out well. The house is comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. In between, it was nice to be able to sit outside in peace overlooking the field. Worth repeating!

We hebben een ontzettend fijn verblijf gehad in dit huisje. We zochten een rustige plek om in alle rust te kunnen studeren en dat is goed gelukt. De aparte werkkamer was daar zeer geschikt voor.
Het huisje is comfortabel, schoon en sfeervol ingericht. Tussendoor was het prettig om in alle rust buiten te kunnen zitten met uitzicht op het veld.
Voor herhaling vatbaar!

The cottage is in the owners' garden, but there is certainly enough privacy. There is much to do in the area, (but that was not the purpose of our stay for us). There are walks and bike rides from the cottage, and the sunsets over the field were beautiful!

Het huisje ligt in de tuin van de eigenaren, maar er is zeker voldoende privacy. In de omgeving is veel te doen, (maar dat was voor ons niet het doel van ons verblijf). Vanuit het huisje zijn wandelingen en fietstochten uitgezet.
De zonsondergangen over het veld waren prachtig!

The interior was incredibly nice, the atmosphere in the outdoor area around the cottage could be a little more in line with this.

Het interieur was ontzettend fijn, de sfeer in de buitenruimte om het huisje zou hier iets meer bij kunnen aansluiten.

We had an incredibly peaceful stay in this cottage. We were warmly welcomed by the owners upon arrival and then were able to do our own thing. The cottage is at the back of the owners' garden so you might not get the idea that you are completely alone, but basically the cottage and its immediate surroundings offer enough privacy. We had a great time cooking and relaxing in the evening in the well-appointed cottage, while during the day we could easily go out. Close by you will find some small woods and wetlands. If you look just a little further you will also find the larger nature parks of Drenthe

We hebben een ontzettend rustig verblijf gehad in dit huisje. We zijn bij aankomst hartelijk ontvangen door de eigenaren en konden daarna helemaal onze eigen gang gaan. Het huisje staat achterin de tuin van de eigenaren waardoor je misschien niet het idee krijgt dat je helemaal alleen bent, maar in principe biedt het huisje en haar directe omgeving voldoende privacy.
We hebben 's avonds heerlijk kunnen koken en ontspannen in het goed ingerichte huisje, terwijl we overdag makkelijk op stap konden. Dicht in de buurt vind je een aantal kleine bosjes en moerasgebieden. Wanneer je maar iets verder kijkt vind je ook de grotere natuurparken van Drenthe

I was welcomed by the very friendly and helpful owners. The cottage is very spacious with lots of storage space and is tastefully decorated. The wood stove makes it extra cozy. The bathroom is spacious and has a nice shower. There is plenty to read and there are games available. The refrigerator is perhaps a little on the tight side for 4 people. You have your own garden at the back which is very private and where you look out over the fields and can watch the sunset. But as far as I am concerned, the garden could be decorated a bit more with plants against the house. Otherwise I have had nice days.

Ik werd welkom geheten door de zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaren.
Het huisje is heel ruim opgezet met veel opbergmogelijkheden en is smaakvol ingericht. De houtkachel maakt het extra sfeervol.
De badkamer is ruim en heeft een fijne douche.
Verder ligt er van alles te lezen en zijn er spelletjes beschikbaar.
De koelkast is misschien iets aan de krappe kant voor 4 personen.
Je hebt je eigen tuintje aan de achterkant wat heel prive ligt en waar je uitkijkt over de velden en naar de zonsondergang kan kijken. Maar wat mij betreft mag de tuin nog iets meer aangekleed worden met beplanting tegen het huisje aan.
Verder heb ik er fijne dagen gehad.

This nice nature house is located in a beautiful area. Within walking distance is the Matingerzand which is worth a visit. Although the cottage is in the backyard of the owners, there is plenty of privacy, but you are not completely alone. Personally, I found the nearby N-road a bit disturbing by the noise, but if you are not bothered by this it is otherwise quiet. Inside you do not hear the road and it is very quiet.

Dit leuke natuurhuisje ligt in een mooie omgeving. Op loopafstand ligt het Matingerzand wat een bezoekje waard is. Verder heb je wel een auto of fiets nodig om echt de natuur in te gaan.
Hoewel het huisje in de achtertuin staat van de eigenaren is er voldoende privacy, maar je bent dus niet helemaal alleen.
Persoonlijk vond ik de dichtbijgelegen N- weg wel wat storend door het geluidoverlast maar als je hier geen last van hebt is het verder rustig gelegen. Binnen hoor je de weg trouwens niet en is het heel stil.
