this nature house is a small, cozy mobile home with the theme of wildlife, inspired by a lookout cabin for spying wildlife. From the window you look out over the meadows where deer, hares, badgers or cranes can often be seen. Inside, it is warm and simply decorated, with natural materials and subtle wildlife accents. There is a comfortable double bed, a sitting area and a small dining table. The Wildhut has a sanitary facility seven meters away, situated in an old shed. Here you will find not only a toilet and hot shower but also a kitchenette for cooking, hot running water and a cozy sitting area overlooking our yard at the edge of the forest. The Wildhut has no heating, making it most suitable from spring to early autumn. It sits in the greenbelt of our yard, right on a quiet road, overlooking open country. A nice place for those who love simplicity and the rural outdoors.
Nature and surroundings
The Wildhut is located on the edge of a Drenthe nature reserve, where woods, meadows and heath alternate. From the yard you can walk or cycle straight into the woods. There is plenty of wildlife to see: deer, badgers, wolves or even a curious raccoon. Sometimes cranes perch in the meadow in front of the Wildhut. The Wildhut stands on a rural road where, in addition to small traffic, agricultural traffic occasionally passes - part of the rhythm of the countryside. In the vicinity you will find walking and cycling routes, beautiful villages like Dwingeloo, Ruinen and Diever and nature reserves such as the Dwingelderveld and the Drents Friese-Wold. A fine base to experience the Drenthe countryside.
