From the Villa you walk directly into the Parkbos, which is located on the border of Ghent, De Pinte and Sint-Martens-Latem. Or rather go to the bustling city center of Ghent or a trip to Bruges, Brussels or Antwerp? Everything is close by! Variety rules in the Park Forest: in addition to woods, you will also find play nature, pollarded trees, wide grasslands and stately castles with imposing entrance drives. A cross-pollination between rich history and new nature development. There are numerous hiking trails, with or without a guide. Ditto for horseback riding or bicycle tours. The play forest Speelrijk is no less than 16 ha large with several play canals. Logs and suspension bridges over the water provide an exciting crossing. There are also willow huts and tunnels in the play forest. You can build plenty of camps there. For toddlers, there is a defined play area with sand and smaller willow huts. A hiking trail winds through the play forest. You can relax on the (picnic) benches in clearings.
